Consistently winning the leading edge projects covering Energy, Environment, Minerals/Metals, Process Engineering and Project Management on an international scale over an extended period of time promotes them and the people that work within their organisation as best in industry.

Due to the ongoing uptake of fresh and sought after materials handling projects they are currently seeking a Senior Materials Handling Engineer to join them in the Process Infrastructure team in Brisbane. Working closely with global clients the successful applicant will be adept at design and implementation of Port solutions related to marine, rail and materials handling for pit to port projects.

The role:


  • Work closely with project teams

  • Detailed design for bulk materials handling equipment and facilities

  • Work on layout of terminal facilities (stockyards, transport, equipment, utilities)

  • Presentations to key stakeholders

  • Project team leadership – feasibility/detailed design

  • Development/mentoring of more junior team members


About you:


  • Degree quals. In Mechanical Engineering

  • Eligibility or membership for Engineers Aust. – RPEQ

  • 10 + years bulk materials handling experience (Port Terminals)

  • Ability to work autonomously or in multi discipline environment

  • Thorough understanding of Australian Standards

  • Team leadership skills

  • Excellent communication abilities both internal and external
