Senior Ecologist

Salary: £30000 - £35000

My client is a specialist environmental consultancy with several offices throughout the UK. They are looking to expand the team in Gloucestershire with a Senior Ecologist.

The ideal Senior Ecologist will have 5 years experience in ecological consultancy, being able to demonstrate an aptitude for client’s requirements and delivering these on time and to budget without compromising quality of work. You will be capable of applying for and securing EPS licences for large complex developments with numerous protected species.

As a Senior Ecologist you will be responsible for delivering many complex, multi-issue ecology-driven projects. You will be required to design and implement practical and achievable mitigation strategies for protected species, specifically reptiles and Great Crested Newts. You will be personable and charismatic demonstrating strong attention to detail and commitment to my client’s vision.
