Senior Ecological Consultant

Position - Senior Ecologist
Location - Preston
Salary - Depends largely on relevant consultancy experience

Our client is currently in the market for talented ecologists that possess the quality and experience to take charge and develop a diverse range of ecological projects, followed by the subsequent completion of high quality technical reports. This sort of ability will be represented with demonstrable experience in a consulting environment, coupled with a number of protected specie licenses (Bat and GCN).

Ideal candidates will already hold a position as a Senior Ecologist within an established consultancy.

Duties of the role will include:
- Actively managing a large team of skilled ecologists
- Carry out a range of ecological surveys (Phase 1 to NVC surveys)
- Line management of colleagues
- Technical report writing
- Providing professional support to a portfolio of clients
- Training of new and existing junior ecologists

An IEEM Membership would be advantageous.
