Due to major expansion projects we require Mine Planning Engineer to join small professional team.
Reporting to the Senior Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for determining the strategy planning and design of the Underground and Surface mining.

Your primary responsibilities will be:
  • Strategic Mine Plan designs
  • Assist in the budget and life of mine schedules
  • Quarterly re-forecasting
  • mentoring the technical services team
  • Ensure statutory compliance
to be successful in this role you will have:
  • Completed tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
  • Have a minimum of 3 years experience in ventilation, production and short term planning engineering.
  • Underground operator experience
  • Demonstrated experience in mine planning and preparation reserves in underground mining
  • Proven experience with decline and long hold mining
  • Experience with specialised mining software
