Job Description
Duties include:
• Provide refinery
operations support, optimization and troubleshooting and shut-down/start-up
support of fractionation towers
• Proactively work
with refinery technical and operations staff and Process Networks
• Coordinates and
drives technology implementation
• Facilitates
alignment processes and open, effective communication among stakeholders
• Understands,
implements and communicates best practices to stakeholders
• Anticipates
future refining requirements and initiates actions to accomplish
Candidate should
be able to plan, organize, motivate, influence, coordinate and monitor work of others;
demonstrates sound decision making and business judgment; communicates
effectively upward and downward; understands and fosters understanding by all
stakeholders of objectives and priorities.
Special Requirements
• Successful candidates should have at least a
Bachelors degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical)
• 5+ years of
related professional experience such as Process Engineering, Process Design,
Unit Startup, Technical Service, Troubleshooting and Refining Economics
• Experience in
operations support in the area of fractionation towers at a refining or
upgrading site
• Candidates must
be eligible for membership in Provincial Professional Engineering Associations
