Position Summary

• This position manages administration and operation of the Electronic Assembly material area covering a 24/7 shift operation.
• Oversees that materials are stored, picked, kitted and reported in accordance with established procedures. Directs and supervises warehouse staff. Reviews effectiveness of operating procedures, maintenance, space utilization and protection of equipment. Makes recommendations for improvements as required. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
• Actively pursues lean based continuous improvement of material flow from receipt of goods, market place management, presentation of goods at point of use, and shipment of finished product.
• Plan, prioritize, organize, schedule, and monitor human resources and raw materials required to achieve rapid material throughput, strict quality control, productivity goals, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead cycle count and physical inventory activities. Coordinate with others as necessary in order to insure timely distribution of raw material.
• Secure and coordinate as appropriate support activities of Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, test Engineering, Production Control, Finance, and Human Resources as appropriate in order to meet goals and objectives.
• Interview, select, train, evaluate, and motivate direct reports. Enhance and promote employee morale through the use of effective communications, consistent application of policies, practices, and employee coaching.
• Monitor and maintain a safe working environment through adherence of safety and EPA regulations and observance of good housekeeping practices.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Four year degree preferred with Supply Chain background.
• Supervisory experience along with proven experience of lean material flow concepts.

Desired Qualifications

• Four year degree within the Supply Chain field.
• SAP experience.
• APICS Certification.
• Three to five years of supervisory experience within a warehousing environment.
