Project Manager

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the General Manager, the on-site Project Manager is responsible for the delivery and management of large infrastructure projects.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Accountable for all on-site project activities
• Responsible for reviewing, monitoring of sub-contractors, supervision, engineering and procurement.
• Responsible for the companies Policies, Procedures, and work instructions to be followed.
• Resolution of any problems or inconsistencies which occur throughout the construction project.
• Supervises and coordinates
• Develop and maintain lasting relationships with owner, consultants, subcontractors & public relations.
• Ensure health and safety program is adhered to along with project specific site regulations and requirements.
• Prepares and reviews reports on progress, materials used, and costs, and adjusts work schedules
• Manages the Human Resource function on site and working with the Human Resources successfully meet the needs of the project.

Qualifications:

• 10- 15 years of construction experience in the mining and heavy civil construction industries
• Experienced in managing projects ranging between $2 million to $80 million plus
• Knowledgeable and experienced in doing RFP's, RFI's and full execution of lump sum bidding
