Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic

Your role as an HD Mechanic will be to provide service and repairs to a wide variety of customers including major truck fleets, bus fleets, utility companies, the agriculture community, tire shops, municipalities, and mining operations. Responsibilities

• Quality service and repairs;
• Interface with customers in the field on service calls in a courteous and professional manner;
• Ensure customer satisfaction and product quality;
• Problem solve from diagnosis to correction;
• Work closely as a team member with your peers in the shop;
• Keep appropriate and accurate records to insure a timely action on all transactions.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic ticket (will consider 4 th year apprentices with heavy truck and trailer experience);
• Strong technical knowledge and mechanical aptitude to perform service on various equipment ranging from heavy duty equipment to small engine and parts;
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction;
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask is a must.

Salary:

• $35.00 - $40.00/hour
