Job Description
An Underground Mining Engineer is required to join the business working on a FIFO basis from Perth on a 8/6 roster. This Mining Engineer position will entail:
- Drill & blast design
- Ventilation
- Short-term mine planning & scheduling
- Back-fill
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this Underground Mining Engineering role, you will hold a Degree in Mining Engineering and have some practical knowledge and experience of the above mentioned aspects of Underground Mining. Having completed your underground time, it is essential to possess some experience in the design of drill & blast functions and ventilation. It is important to demonstrate an aptitude for mathematical problem solving, attention to detail and the ability to fit into a team based environment.
