Priding itself on a collaborative working environment and friendly culture, this company now requires an open pit Senior Mine Planning Engineer to help facilitate its growth.
Job Description
Reporting to the Mine Manager, the Senior Mine Planning Engineer will play a key role within the technical services team. Responsibilities of this role will range from:
Conducting short, medium and long term planning activities
Preparing drill and blast designs and plans
Examining mining methods to improve performance
Supervising and mentoring junior mining engineers
The Successful Applicant
The successful Senior Mine Planning Engineer applicant will possess:
Tertiary qualifications in mining engineering
A minimum of 4 years experience in Australian open pit mining operations
Excellent leadership and communication skills
