Our client, a large engineering company, is looking to recruit an exceptional boilermaker for shop work.
The overall purpose of this position will be to undertake duties associated with the welding of ferrous and other metals. This will include marking out of work, structural grade welding and other associated tasks.
To be successful for this role you will ideally have the following:
- 5+ years experience working as a boilermaker
- A tertiary qualification
- 8G welding ticket
- Ability to interpret drawings
- Demonstrated ability to provide out of the box solutions and re-engineer business processes for efficiency and quality gains
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- A polished and professional work ethic
