  • Job Description
  • This newly created position will help to strengthen and set up the global research and development capabilities of BASF Mining Solutions in Perth. This BASF business unit was created in 2009 following strategic business acquisitions.
  • Working specifically within the Mining Solutions sector you will be charged with pioneering innovative solutions in the development of solid liquid separation technology, such as thickening process amongst other technologies within the mineral processing industry. You will work closely with some of the most talented minds in the industry to help establish a global Research and Development and Technology centre to service the mining industry.

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Chemical Engineering / Metallurgy / Mineral Processing. Prior operational experience in a mineral processing environment is essential with specific knowledge in separation techniques such as thickening and flocculation. You will also possess a high level of autonomy with strong management skills. As this role requires you to liaise with clients in the mining industry strong communication and presentation skills are essential. Previous applicants need not apply.
