Commissioning Engineers

  • Contract role with a view to permaanent position

Barclay recruitment is a specialist technical recruitment consultancy firm working across a variety of industries Australia wide. We pride ourselves on sourcing "best fit" candidates for numerous high profile national and multinational organisations.

Currently we are seeking qualified Commissioning Engineers who have previous experience within the Oil and Gas / Mining sector.

Main duties:
  • Mechanical testing and commissioning
  • Installation of processing equipment
  • Project reporting
  • Cost effective designs and engineering practise
  • Complete checks of engineering calculations and drawings
  • Monitoring subcontracting Engineers
  • Ensure compliance is adhered to within contractual specifications
  • Ability to identify the requirements for Engineering input into projects
Applicants must have:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
  • 10+ years experience - Oil and Gas preferred
  • Onsite experience in commissioning would be advantageous
  • Project management skills
  • A strong work ethic
  • Australian residency
  • A high level of technical accuracy and advanced problem solving skills
  • Previous experience in writing reports and procedures
