THE CLIENT

Our client provides specialised services in the mining sector across various regions in Australia.  Their main focus of the company is coal mining and due to various ongoing projects they are currently looking to recruit a Database Geologist to join their team on a full time basis.
 

The Database Geologist position:

We are looking for an experienced Database Geologist who can support the projects from the Brisbane office

The duties of the Database Geologist will include:
- Database Maintenance (Updating, loading, validating Geological data using ArcGIS)
- Assisting Geologist in producing reports.
- Produce maps, diagrams, charts.
- Liaise with the Project Geologists in delivering these products.
- Other duties as required

To be successful for the Database Geologist position you must have the following experience:
- Min 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Tertiary qualification in Geology 
- Experience in ArcGIS and knowledge of SQL server
- Knowledge of MapInfo, Micromine, Datashed & Vulcan
- Excellent Computer skills
- Excellent communication skills

- The Database Geologist position is a permanent position offering above $100K depending on experience.
- Relocation package is available for the right candidate.
