As a
Technical Director of the Energy & Resources Team within RPS Environment in Perth, you will lead and mentor Team Leaders and Practice Leaders providing all aspects of team management, project budgeting, progress monitoring, outcome evaluation on projects and technical oversight to the group. You will contribute to, develop and improve the operation of the business and participate in strategic planning in this stimulating role. Through engagement in major oil and gas project, you will have the ability to significantly influence the environment of the future – you’ll also enjoy the social interaction and professional support of a highly skilled and close-knit team.
You will have a relevant degree in an environmental discipline, and at least fifteen years professional experience with recognized expertise in environmental science and environmental management. You industry experience and proven skills and interest in people management will allow you to continue to grow and develop the team. Your ability to direct and manage staff resources will assist you with the execution of multiple or large scale, multi-disciplinary projects and your drive and enthusiasm make you a professional who can shape the future. You have broad experience, a positive attitude and leadership skills, and specialist knowledge of consulting and project management. You enjoy mentoring and encouraging professional growth in staff. You approach your working life with pragmatism, humility and humour.
