Process Engineer

We have clients in the Mining/Petrochemical/Power industry that are looking for Senior Process Engineers to join their team. If they have any Base Metal and Modular Process experience that would be huge advantage.

Minimum Requirements

• Chemical Engineer Degree or relevant degree
• Min of 6 years plant experience in industrial operations
• Technical design of any one of the following - concentrators, smelters, leach plants and refineries for copper, cobalt, zinc, nickel, gold, uranium, platinum group metals; coal washing plants, iron ore beneficiation plants, heavy mineral sands concentrators.

Job Specification

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Evaluation of enquiry and study documents, assessment of ore characteristics
• Derivation of basic design parameters
• Generation of mass, chemical, energy and heat balances
• Development of process flow diagrams, piping, valve and instrumentation diagrams equipment data sheets and specifications
• Process controls and functional specifications
• Assistance in plant layout
• Dimensioned process platework sketches
• Operating manuals
• Commissioning, plant performance tests
• All related equipment sizing calculations, simulations, performance predictions
• Draft performance guarantees.
