Fitter and Turner

My Client a major player in the Concrete and Aggregate market, based Kwazulu Natal (Coastal), is urgently looking at filling the vacancies they have for a FITTER and TURNER. Only SA CITIZENS will be considered.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified as Fitter and Turner (Olifantsfontein Red Seal)
• Minimum Grade 12/Matric (Compulsory)
• Minimum N3
• 3 to 5 years working experience as Fitter and Turner in the Cement Manufacturing/Mining Industry/Heavy Engineering Industry.

Job Specification

You will form part of the Mechanical Maintenance Team responsible for maintaining the following equipment:

• Screens
• Crushers
• Conveying systems
• General  maintenance experience in "heavy engineering" industry.
• Operating Lathes for the manufacturing of certain components/spare parts.
• General knowledge of maintaining earth moving equipment.
• Knowledge/Experience or Training done on Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Bearings , Alignment and Vibration Monitoring will give you a BIG advantage.
• My client will assist with relocation if needed.
