Senior EHS Management Systems Consultant

[Company] is seeking a Senior EHS Management Systems Consultant with LNG Operations Experience to join our growing Performance & Assurance practice team in Houston, TX.  In this ground floor role, you will develop operating procedures for a LNG facility building health and safety management systems in alignment with clients local and international requirements. This is an excellent career opportunity to work with an expert consulting team on challenging EHS management projects for large global clients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform compliance audits to assess a facility or project’s compliance with applicable environmental and/or health and safety regulatory requirements, corporate standards, or management systems.
• Develop operating procedures required for HSE Management Systems.
• Identify follow-up corrective actions to close audit findings. 
• Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance and EHS management system projects
• Develop EHS compliance procedures, plans, permits, and reports.
• Design and implement EHS management systems and programs for clients.
• Manage multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.
• Support [Company] Partners-in-Charge and other Project Managers to effectively manage and deliver projects.
• Effectively steward and build client relationships leading to repeat business.
• Build strong collaborative relationships with other [Company] employees.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in engineering, safety, environmental science, business administration, or related discipline.
• 8 to 15 years of environmental, and/or health and safety experience in industrial environments, preferably in process plants, mining, upstream oil and gas, or on construction projects. Oil & gas or chemical sector experience desired.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills; experience writing comprehensive technical reports.
• Strong MS Office computer skills required; advanced understanding of Excel and databases desired.
• Experience maintaining corporate management standards (either as a consultant or an internal compliance officer).
• Certification in field; PE, CSP, CHMM, or similar registration highly desirable.  BEAC certification a plus.
