Senior Construction Manager is available to join this unique high performing business experience in Project Management within Tier 1 Contractors is essential and have been hands on in building and construction responsible for profit and loss.
You will be a resourceful problem solver adept at managing large team's of Area Manager's Area Engineers, Project Controls units, Superintendents, Engineering, HSE teams, Commissioning teams and Contracts.
Bringing your experience working for large construction contractors, this is the opportunity to move up into a large EPCM project and apply your ability to get the job done under strict time constraints.

Working across various projects you will have extensive exposure to the constructability of projects from pit to port. Critical to the success of this role will be your strong delivery ability of construction and maintenance of inflow/outflow systems and processing plants.
Your mandate will extend to responsibility for the development and implementation of the construction plan to ensure that engineering design, technical, and quality standards are achieved safely and according to time and budget parameters.
Reporting to the Project Director, you will be given full managerial autonomy with respect to the overall supervision of the construction process. This position will resonate with Project Managers from a construction/contracting business that have extensive experience in the management of construction teams across multiple projects to successful completion of construction and commissioning. The ideal candidate will not only meet these noted capabilities but will need to be a forward thinker with the ability to plan and anticipate issues and implement solutions.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in similar role within a Tier 1 Contractor
- 5-10 years minimum experience large scale Australian projects from a construction contractor
- Knowledge of materials handling and metals/mineral processing plant design
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Registered as a Manager under the Mines Regulations Act or eligible for registration
- Some commercial qualifications desirable
- A proven track record of delivering $300 million projects.
- Well-developed interpersonal/communication skills including report writing
- FIFO & Site Experience
- Stable employment history with long term employment tenure contract or EPCM
