Business Development Manager - Pump Industry

My client is a fortune 500, world leading manufacturers & suppliers of pumps, mixers and fluid handling technologies.  Employing over 40,000 people worldwide they operate in all regions across the global and have an extensive sales & service networks throughout Australia.  Currently they are seeking to employ a Business Development Manager to develop new sales leads and win new business throughout Western Australia.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity whereby the successful candidate will manage significant new business activities and aid the development of the product range across the WA regions specifically in the engineering houses as well as at end users sites targeting major mining companies, contractors and municipals.  You will be responsible for project and bid development and coordination of tender submissions.  A


The ideal candidate will:
·         Have engineering or  trade qualifications
·         A proven history of developing new business in the Perth market
·         Experience selling dewatering pumps / diesel driven pumps / pumping & water solutions to target markets
·         A proactive sales approach and the entrepreneurial flair to grow a business
·         Existing industry contacts in the local market
·         Minimum 5+ years local experience
