This Blue Chip market leader provides innovation, performance, guidance, manufacturing & design to Open Cut Coal & Metal mines, Material Handling and Underground mining industries.
The position has direct responsibility for the effective completion of engineering designs for a number of diverse industries including longwall mining, Bulk systems, and plant layout products.
The role involves structural or mechanical design, continuous improvement and new product introduction all with Solid Works 3D Software. Designing trucks to conveyors, to chutes to bins, process instrumentation schematics, hydraulic schematic layouts, plant layouts, loading systems and storage designs. Production of drafts / drawings from supplied information such as engineering request forms, client specifications, design calculations sheets.
You’ll be also in charge of Creation and selection of BOM’s along with Senior Engineers.
The successful candidate will possess 5 years Solid Works design experience, strong practical mechanical or structural engineering / drafting skills and 5 plus years technical engineering experience. Only candidates with extensive Mining or Heavy Engineering design experience will be considered.
