Contracts Specialists x 3 - Mining

• 3-6 Month Contract
• Brisbane Based | Travel to site once a week
• Must have at least 5 years mining experience

The Opportunity:
Work within one of Australia's largest independent coal producers. You will have the opportunity to lead and influence the culture and processes within the procurement team. You will have the chance to streamline processes, making an impact towards the continuous improvement and growth of the company.

The Role:
To actively be involved in the initiation process through to contract award and completion. You will assist and advise relative departments in the planning, scopes of work and specifications. You will be support in acquiring goods and services in a consultative, cost effective and time efficient manner.

You will be assigned to tasks such as:

• Implementing and developing sourcing strategies for contracts.
• Formulation under the best Commercial terms and conditions available
• Preparing for tenders, Documenting provisions, Hand overs, Processing requests, Monitoring of progress, closing out contracts, Inputting data to Oracle

The Requirements
To be successful in your application you will have:

• An eye for detail regarding your understanding of commerce, contract law, risk assessment, communications and customer service
• Degree/Diploma in Procurement and Contracts
• 5 years in Mining or Heavy Industry
• System Knowledge in Oracle and Microsoft office suit including Projects
