Their offices are based in a central location and they're currently seeking a permanent Solutions Architect to join their team.  

 
The Role: 

The  Solutions Architect will oversee, develop and implement solution architectures from both a business and technical perspective. This is a hands on role.  This opportunity will give you the opportunity to work for a major mining client. 
 

Responsibilities:  

• Leads architecture staff through coordination and liaison of teams
• Performs solution definition of a problem domain
• Designs overall system and solution architecture, system integration, and implementation strategy
• Delivers an integrated solution that meets the needs of the customer within the constraints of the contract
• Leads in the analysis, design, and implementation planning of the technical/business solution from pre-sale through delivery
• Assists in establishing preliminary project/program development schedule.  
  Generates conceptual/logical architectures, system documents, testing analyses, test plans, and risk assessments 

Key Requirements: 

• Strong understanding of system integration design at the conceptual, logical and physical level
• Ability to engage fully with client Enterprise Architecture group to translate architectural principles, policies, reference architectures, templates etc into specific project solution designs
• Must have experience working with 3rd party vendor solutions
• Strong report writing/documentation skills, including creation of architecture diagrams
• Proficient in contemporary SDLC/Architectural methods 
• Seeking candidatesfrom Application, Integration, Solutions and Systems Architect background
• Previous mining experience will be highly regarded
