Environmental Land Management Officer

Three opportunities exist:

• APLNG, Miles beginning ASAP
• Columboola- Western Downs commencing Oct 2012 to Dec 2013
• Calvale- beginning asap until February 2013

My client is responsible for the design, build and maintenance of Queensland's high voltage electricity network. They have an enviable reputation for providing a great working environment and are home to some of the 'world best practice technologies'. This dynamic organisation is now seeking to recruit three new opportunities for an Environmental Land Management Officer. 


Reporting to the Environmental Coordinator but working closely with the project team you will be required to assist them with Property Owner Liaison and Property Owner Close Outs. You must conduct day to day environmental observations of the construction works and complete relevant environmental non - conformances to the Project Team. You will also be required to input into the Monthly Project Environmental Report.


To be successful in this role you must have tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and at least 2-5 years experience in a similar role. You must have previous exposure to environmental management and legislation as well as strong communication skills and the ability to generate solutions.
