Lead Auditor

DEPT./DIVISION :
Business System Improvement Department / OCD / HR

ORG. RELATIONSHIPS :
Reports to BSI Manager

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • College degree in Mining/Metallurgical/Environmental Engineering or any related course
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Team player
  • Attentive to details
  • Investigative skill is a must
  • Competent in interviewing auditees
  • Ability to facilitate
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Preferably Lead Auditor in QMS, EMS or OHSAS
  • Expert in quality standards and models
JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Organize internal auditors and provide needed skills to conduct process audit
  • Conduct audit meeting with auditees
  • Make Audit Plans and issue audit schedules
  • Prepare a document review and gap assessment
  • Conduct special investigation of major non-conformances
  • Prepare an audit report based on key findings, mention anomalies and nonconformities in the system, and rate the degree of severity of the problem
  • Follow up and steer the implementation of the department’s corrective action
  • Suggest modifications and make recommendations to enable the system to comply with ISO standards.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Work 48 hours per week with the need to work extra hours from time to time
  • Work is a combination of office and field assignment with requirements to travel to project sites
