Coal Quality Engineer - Queensland - Up to $150K

Our client is one of  the world's largest private-sector coal companies  with operations in Queensland and New South Wales and is actively pursuing growth plans to supply the high-growth Asian coal markets. Due to the rapid expansion of their mining projects our client is looking for experienced Coal Quality Engineers for operations in the Bowman Basin region.
 
As the Coal Quality Engineer you will be responsible for:

• monitoring coal quality from pit to port
• collaborating data and reporting to assist management in optimizing and improving coal recovery
• blend quality and CHPP performance in order to maximize coal throughput
• manage and document stockpile reconciliations for ROM stockpiles
• enhance the quality of coal recovery and mining techniques

To be considered for the role of Coal Quality Engineer you will be able to demonstrate:

• Proven background as a Coal Quality Engineer or significant experience in a similar role
• Tertiary Qualifications in Geology or Mine Engineering
• Experience in Open Cut Coal Mining
• Excellent communication skills
