Resource Development Superintendent - 12/9 Perth FIFO

With a strong pipeline of quality resource projects, this client is set to undergo rapid growth in the Pilbara region. They are a dynamic organisation with a number of key projects strategically located. The next few years will see the company grow their mining operations. Time to get on board and develop with who I see as one of the most exciting clients at present! 

We are seeking an energetic, honest, outgoing and proactive Geologist to help drive their Resource Development strategy. Reporting directly to the Resource Development Manager your role will be to develop, implement, monitor and review resource development activities to assist in the growth of the company's resource base.
 
Your focus on converting exploration targets to indicated resources by:
 
  • Providing one on one engagement, coaching, support and mentoring of geologists
  • Assisting with the coordination and facilitation of the annual development plan
  • Developing and submitting drill programs to operations to deliver required company outcomes
  • Assisting Geologists with geological interpretation and providing guidance in reporting and logging
  • Developing and submitting POW's to operations to deliver required company outcomes
  • Assisting with the promotion and development of technical systems to support efficient and effective drill programs
  • Demonstrating visible leadership in driving safe behaviours and positive environmental outcomes
 
About you:
 
To be successful in this role, your toolkit will include:
  • Strong understanding of geological principles and methods
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • 7 + years experience - A Senior looking to step up or Chief/Sup't looking for a new challenge and genuine opportunity
  • Ability to design, implement and report on geological projects
  • Sound knowledge of OHS procedures
  • Experience supervising RC & diamond drill rigs
  • Ability to use GIS and mining software packages advantageous
