Operations Manager Infrastructure

This contractor has recently been awarded multiple $million-dollar project works packages and with these large infrastructure and mining projects currently underway, an opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced Operations Manager to come on board to provide support in relation to key construction activities within infrastructure projects. You will have 10-15 years experience in infrastructure projects, water, main roads, airports, power plant from a civil construction perspective  

Your years of experience in civil engineering and/or heavy civil construction background will be rewarded with a generous remuneration and conditions, and you will have great work autonomy in this staff and people orientated business.

General duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Managing and executing project deliveries
  • Liaising with other Construction Managers internally to ensure projects are on track as scheduled
  • Advise on methods of best practice, working, safety and risk assessments
  • Maintaining positive relations
  • Supervision of Construction works
  • Achieving cost effective operations
  • Determining workforce requirements and coordinating established area operational plans

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Australias leading Contractors to the Mining industry in Key $multi-billion projects. You will be rewarded with industry-leading remuneration and terms.

Formal tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or 15+ years of experience in Civil Construction working within Infrastructure and SMP works are essential for this role.
This position will suit a highly independent and enthusiastic individual with great interpersonal skills.
