Project Controls Assistant

Work for a Global EPCM Company and develop your skills within Project Controls, assisting in costing and planning for a large expansion project. With proven previous experience from Project Controls you will now take your career one step further with this leading global projects firm.


This huge expansion project is giving you the opportunity to work for a leading global EPCM company and extend your knowledge within Project Controls. You have a background from planning and cost control and know the importance of time and money. As the successful candidate you will be assisting in planning, scheduling and analyzing costs for a multimillion dollar mining construction project. With experience from previously been working on large projects and for an EPCM company you will be an asset for this successful team.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Assisting in project controls, primarily with cost and planning scope.
  • Ensuring that project controls needs are being satisfied, including timely and accurate input of data, thorough and accurate review and analysis of defined cost and schedule elements.
  • Timely and accurate document production.
  • Capable of effectively communicating with all levels of the project management.
  • Able to identify potential problems and elevate these to the appropriate levels of management.
  • Assist in development and monitoring of the schedule for engineering, procurement, and construction activities as appropriate.

You will possess the following:



  • Previous planning experience with a EPCM team and project
  • P6 Primavera experience of 1-2 yrs min.
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Familiarisation with Project Controls procedures and process
 
In return we are able to offer a 12 months contract with great rate of pay, working for a global, leading EPCM organization.
