Controls Superintendent

Immediate requirement for a Controls Superintendent to join the team on site and work on a multibillion dollar mining project for the EPCM. FIFO opportunity offering excellent rates of pay.

With this project about to enter the commissioning phase the Controls Superintendent will be part of the team and utilize all their previous experience in testing, inspections, completion systems, networking and fibre cabling.

General duties and responsibilities will be to:
  • Electrical clearance and equipment specification
  • Estimation, delivery and review of projects on schedule
  • The development of action plans and continual assessment of output to correct any deficiencies
  • DCS programming;
  • Understanding the requirements of our clients;
  • Being innovative in providing quality, cost-effective solutions
  • Ongoing maintenance and commissioning of PLCs, SCADA and other control systems.
  • Installation and commissioning of SCADA systems
  • Troubleshooting of technical issues within control systems

To be considered:
  • Extensive experience use of Schneider and Allen Bradley PLCs, and CITECT SCADA
  • Tertiary qualification in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • A high level of technical accuracy and experience
  • Excellent team involvement, mentoring, coordination and communication skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • At least 10 years of relevant industry experience
