Resource Geologist

As a Resource Geologist in this business, you will gain world class exposure to some of the best bauxite projects in Australia. The company has a strong history of developing world class resources and in this role you will be integral to the success of the geology function.

Selection Criteria - Essential
Minimum BSc. Geology
2 - 3 years experience
Experience with gold, iron ore or bauxite mining process

Responsibilities
Working on bauxite projects, resource models and getting exposure to resource calculations and statutory reporting of resource/reserve information.
An understanding through practical experience in the field of resource development geology and mine site geology
Encourage and monitor the use of safe work practises and adherence to safe working procedures by all mine geology staff
Interact with other senior site staff to assist in the safe and efficient operation of the site

Skills and Experience
A sound understanding of underground mine geology functions
Solid understanding of 3D Modelling
Demonstrated ability to work in a team
