Minimum Requirements

• Auto Electrical Qualifications
• 4 – 5 years Mining or Heavy Engineering
• Repair and Maintenance of Yellow Fleet, Buses, Trucks, Trailers
• Electrical work on heavy equipment
• Troubleshooting
• Train and direct less experienced mechanics

Job Specification

The Auto Electrician is responsible for more technical repairs and maintenance of yellow Fleet, automobiles, trucks and trailers.  Troubleshooting will be one of the critical parts of the duties of an Auto Electrician as well as ordering of parts and the repair of difficult mechanical and Hydraulic problems.  The Auto Electrician may from time to time direct and train less experienced mechanics and serve the role of lead mechanic on a repair job.  Following environmental and safety regulation is a key aspect for this position.

• Maintenance and repair of automobiles, trucks and trailers
• Maintenance and repair of Yellow Fleet equipment
• Order parts for repairs
• Troubleshooting on Mechanical & Hydraulically components
• Follow organisational, environmental and safety regulations
• Assist less experienced mechanics
• Attend to breakdowns
