Project Manager

Company Overview
 
Our client is a respected engineering firm specialized in bulk materials handling based in Calgary, Alberta. They service the Western Canadian Mining industry with in house custom designed and built bulk materials handling systems.
 
Recent success and growth has created an opening for a Project Manager. In this role, key responsibilities will include on-time on-budget completion of projects, involvement with technical, project and business management teams as well as leading the delivery of the company’s Vision Value Statement to stakeholders.
 
This full time staff position is based in Calgary, Alberta. Some flexibility may be offered to work from home in other centers for the right candidate.

What we expect from you?
  • You have 10+ years relevant experience and may be professionally qualified (Engineer, PMP, or both)
  • You’re experienced in managing projects in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
  • You’re solutions orientated, with the ability to see the big picture, and to work both strategically and ‘hands on’
  • Your skill set involves the ability to overcome operational, delivery, quality and/or contractual/commercial challenges, which may impact on project delivery
  • You’re a natural relationship builder with clients, vendors and colleagues
  • You possess exceptional oral & written English skills
  • You’re an excellent communicator with understanding of the value and importance of team spirit in relation to group dynamics and productivity.
  • You relate instinctively to the demands of a project driven environment.
  • You’re ambitious, with the drive, energy, passion, integrity, resourcefulness and management expertise to flourish in this challenging role.
  • You are legally able to work in Canada for any employer
