Foreman

Position Summary:

• Responsible for managing, planning and coordinating the daily plant functions with a safety first style. Closely communicate with operations manager and asphalt laydown crew manager; and maintain positive communications between the customers, crew, and state inspectors. Ensure the proper maintenance and securing of company assets. Complete required daily and monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2-5 years minimum experience with asphalt plant production and maintenance
• Possess superior knowledge of, personal commitment to, and a proven attitude towards safety regulations and goals
• Solid understanding of asphalt plant processing, equipment and maintenance
• Strong people skills; capable of leading, managing and motivating employees
• Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
