(CMMS) Implementation Manager

Plains currently have an immediate opening based in Calgary for an experienced Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Implementation Manager, with oil & gas experience (Midstream preferred) for full time employment. Due to recent acquisitions and internal growth, you will be challenged on the operation, integrity, and fitness for service for the Company’s assets and systems, striving to continuously improve the reliability of cavern facilities throughout its life through plant process activities in Canada and the USA. You will be part of Asset Integrity group and play a key part in the design and planning of production, maintenance, geotechnical and solution mining plans, budgets and schedules all while maintaining a consistent approach to safe working practices at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Roll out a CMMS (with a full scale Preventative Maintenance System) to various plants in North America;
  • Develop standard and procedure for implementation of Maximo for the activities in regards to engineering, construction, operation, maintenance, inspection, purchasing and finance;
  • Develop standardized equipment hierarchy, failure codes, and a Preventative Maintenance Program, with detailed job plans for process plants; in order to improve safety, product quality, production efficiency and labour/material effectiveness;
  • Supervise and review the work of others to ensure consistency and standardization in the system's design; and
  • Provide necessary training to end users.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering;
  • Over 10 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry;
  • Experienced leading IBM Maximo implementation, upgrade or conversion projects;
  • Experience with Maximo 7.5. (desired);
  • Experience with interfacing Maximo to corporate systems (desired): Microsoft Dynamics AX and PCMS (Plant Condition Management Software);
  • Strong technical knowledge of process equipment;
  • Strong technical knowledge of Process Mapping and Failure Analysis;
  • Successfully developed Preventative Maintenance Program, Contract Management Program, Incident Management and Investigation Program, Job Plans and Failure Codes for process manufacturing facilities;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; and
  • Well-developed organizational interpersonal skills.
