Resource Geologist

As a Resource Geologist in this business, you will gain world class exposure to some of the best bauxite projects in Australia. The company has a strong history of developing world class resources and in this role you will be integral to the success of the geology function. 


  • Selection Criteria - Essential 
  • Minimum BSc. Geology 
  • 2 - 3 years experience 
  • Experience with gold, iron ore or bauxite mining process 


Responsibilities 
  • Working on bauxite projects, resource models and getting exposure to resource calculations and statutory reporting of resource/reserve information. 
  • An understanding through practical experience in the field of resource development geology and mine site geology 
  • Encourage and monitor the use of safe work practises and adherence to safe working procedures by all mine geology staff 
  • Interact with other senior site staff to assist in the safe and efficient operation of the site 


Skills and Experience 
A sound understanding of underground mine geology functions 
Solid understanding of 3D Modelling 
Demonstrated ability to work in a team
