Senior Electrical Engineer — Mining Systems & Process Control — Townsville

  • Townsville Based Fulltime Position
Due to a surge of projects across a full range of heavy industries, this global company is seeking the assistance of a Senior Electrical Engineer to cover a range of heavy industry project sectors. 

Reporting to the Project Manager and your responsibilities will include:
  • Tender submissions, project scheduling, cost estimation, meeting deadlines and staying within set budgets
  • Regular Mine site visits and client interaction
  • Performing work in accordance with company procedures and Australian standards in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Design and execute solutions to issues
  • Liaison with the project team and management, and act as an interface with other departments as required
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification within Electrical Engineering
  • RPEQ Member
  • Large Scale Mining Infrastructure project experience
  • Senior Systems and Process Control Engineering experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem solving experience, working both in an autonomous environment and as a team
A negotiable package based on experience is on offer along with the opportunity to be involved with a range of high profile mining and resource projects across Australia and Abroad.
