Ideally suited to an experienced and delivery focused Civil Engineer looking for an opportunity to take on full responsibility for Project Management on behalf of this globally respected multi-disciplined consultancy; with a loyal client base and ongoing projects, the new Project Manager will also be groomed as a successor to the Directors as they plan for the future.

Based in Brisbane, this role offers a diverse array of projects across the full spectrum of civil infrastructure, so if you’re concerned about the future of land development or just keen to diversify, this could be the role for you.

As the successful applicant, you will have at least 12 years experience working as a Civil Engineer across a variety of infrastructure projects. You will have well developed communications skills and be adept at managing the expectations of clients and main contractors alike; your site based construction knowledge will be strong as will your understanding of Australian Standard contracts and their administration. An all encompassing role, it is expected that you will be involved in projects from initial feasibilities, EOI’s and cost planning to design, cost management, project management and ultimately delivery (client side) of civil engineering projects. 

Skills/Experience Required: 

• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• At least 12 years industry experience in civil infrastructure
• RPEQ or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standard contracts and their administration
• Cost planning and management experience
• Well developed communication skills as they relate to client and contractor management
• A proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
