Rollingstock Consultant/Engineer — Rail

Our clients specialise in Rail Consultancy services, encompassing rolling stock and railway systems engineering, plus strategic business consultancy services. They have a comprehensive portfolio including supporting major transport companies and strategic consultancy advice for governmental organisations.

Due to strategic growth and a number of ongoing projects they now have opportunities for experienced Rolling Stock Consultants & Engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Providing expert technical advice, design and project management services on projects within the Rail Industry
• The range of projects will vary from Passenger, Light Rail and Freight design and modification programs to Infrastructure and Rail Network Electrification projects.
• Ensuring the provision of high quality consultancy services to clients in compliance to relatedAustraliaand international standards.
• Involved in the compilation of bids and pricing bids for approval.
• Creation of new business opportunities for the organisation through delivery of high quality assignments.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Tertiary Engineering Qualification is essential.
• Broad based experience with a good understanding of Railway Engineering and Operations.
• Previous experience working in an Engineering Consultancy environment is a major advantage.
• Chartered status is preferable but not essential.
• Excellent written and verbal skills are a prerequisite.
