Electrical Engineer — SCADA

Are you an electrical engineer well versed in SCADA looking for an excellent opportunity based in NSW for this specialist international power provider? This permanent opportunity is working on a high value project throughout the ops & maintenance life.    

This innovative utilities and power consultancy is a leader in its field and is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Engineers well versed in SCADA to work on a major hydro power station in NSW. Liaising with other sectors of the engineering team you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality project deliverables on time and within budget.

The main duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Prepare documentation for standards, procedures and safe working practices 
• Provide technical support to the hydro plant and other related SCADA infrastructure
• Manage and develop all maintenance personnel
• Plan and coordinate asset management across the project
• Maintain SCADA controls systems and train others in the use of the system
• Manage risk across the ops & maintenance life cycle
• Forecasting and overall cost control for on going project

As an ideal candidate you will need:

• Significant experience in engineering for power generation, hydro or heavy industrial
• Sound knowledge of standards for power generation infrastructure
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
