Cost Controller

This multinational EPCM consultancy is a leader in its field and is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cost Controller to work on this large scale project in WA. The scope of the project is to install a borefield to supply water to a connection into the existing water Supply Scheme, which will involve a pipeline and associated Transfer Pump Station. An additional 5GL/yr demand is anticipated to be sourced via a desalination plant also currently under development.

The project will involve new bore pump stations and associated head works to be installed with the stations being located on elevated earthworks pads to ensure that they are above the predicted maximum flood levels and will connect to the Transfer Pump Station.


The main duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Maintaining budgetary controls 
• Provide innovative working processes to reduce labour costs 
• Run, maintain and train others of costing database 
• Create projected forecasting for the on-going project 
• Coerce with management level to highlight any potential problem areas 
• Tracking and analysing costing reviews 
• Providing support to junior team members to maintain costing databases

As an ideal candidate you will need:

• 3+ years cost control experience (not accounting) 
• Experience in working previously on high value project 
• Previous EPCM experience desirable 
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Engineering (or recognised industry experience)
