QC Inspector - Fabrication

I am searching for an experienced QC Inspector with a trades/workshop background to work for a global mining organisation to inspect their 3rd party manufacturing facilities in Australia and overseas (Europe and China) on a contract basis.

Reporting to the QC Manager in Brisbane, you will inspect facilities that fabricate equipment associated with the minerals processing industry. This position is coordinated out of Brisbane and as such you will need to be located within a commutable distance.

Typical responsibilities will include checking health & safety is adhered to, ensuring care/quality of fabrication is high, staff possess appropriate qualifications, inspection of machines, and provide resolutions to non-conformances.

Requirements:

• Practical welding / fabrication experience
• Inspection qualifications (such as WTIA/IWS/CSWI)
• Able to live and work in Australia without needing a sponsored visa
• Flexibility to travel
