An expanding multidisciplinary engineering consultancy offering design solutions to major mine owners across Australia & Abroad is looking to increase its market position by employing a Principal Environmental Scientist / Engineer, capable of building and leading a team and generating new tender opportunities with your strong portfolio of industry contacts. On offer will be the potential to becoming a member of the board and see your hard work and experience gained to generate the income you deserve.

The Role:
  • Building and Leading a team of Environmental Scientists this role will see you use your strong list of industry contacts and commercial knowledge to tender and win new projects across Australia and Abroad.
  • You will Manage the Environmental tender, constructing and presenting land redevelopment studies performed by you and your team.

Must have’s include:

  • A minimum of 15 years Environmental Engineer / Science experience focusing mainly on mining and/or heavy industries
  • Must have experience working on “Australian” Heavy Industry Projects
  • Strong Environmental Risk & Impact Assessment (Includes Social Impact) with the ability to produce accurate documents to present to Mining Owner companies at board level
  • Interact with clients both current and potential on a regular basis
  • Strong contacts within the Australian Mining & Resources industry
  • Experience in employing and building your own team of fulltime and contractors
  • The ability to meet and inspire others to meet deadlines
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
