About our Client
Our client provides specialist services to the mining and resources industry both nationally and across the globe. Recent growth within their Finance team and the business as a whole has created the need for an experienced Assistant Accountant

Job Description
This position calls for an experienced Assistant Accountant who will be responsible but not limited to;

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Assisting with budgets, cash flow and variance analysis
• Bank reconciliations
• Processing month end accrual amounts
• Weekly cash flows
• Various ad hoc departmental duties

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will hold a relevant tertiary degree and will be working toward your CA/CPA qualification or equivalent. You will have previous experience working as an assistant accountant and demonstrate an extremely high attention to detail, excellent excel skills and posses the ability to communicate to all levels of the business.
