Process Area Supervisor, Precipitation

Position Description

• Located 125 miles southwest of Houston, [Company] supplies alumina -- the compound from which aluminum is made -- to Alcoa's global production system -- the largest network of refineries and smelters in the world. • The Process Area Supervisor provides leadership, technical expertise, and coordination of production and maintenance activities in the area. The PAS ensures the process and physical integrity of the area's equipment and the standards by which they will operate. The PAS leads and supports change efforts in the area and ensures understanding and compliance with EEO/RASH, environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a supervisory/managerial position.
• Must have a thorough technical understanding of the Precipitation process, including operational procedures and practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Experience with, and/or strong knowledge of, Company policies, labor contracts, and agreements highly desired.
