Tasks

• Develops and implements a long range Materials Analysis strategy to ensure a high level of competency in the measurement materials properties.   Evaluates new analytical equipment and technologies to support [Company] strategies.  Drives global standardization of best practices into R&D and production analytical labs.  Collaborates with various technical/professional organizations and key suppliers associated with materials analysis. Provides a high level of Analytical services to meet R&D and other Corporate or Customer needs.   Manages a multi-location Materials Analysis team.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Engineering, Science or Materials field and a minimum of five years’ experience in a Materials Science field, and a minimum of six years’ experience in a supervisory capacity. An MBA, MS, or Ph.D. is advantageous. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
