Tasks
- Work with the infrastructure plants to improve the welding and fabricating processes to reduce cost and improve quality.
- Assist and lead projects to transfer technology to existing plants and startup new plants in global locations
- Develop/Improve/Implement methods of manufacturing for new products
- (ACE, new product development projects) and existing products (productivity improvement, cost reduction, process capability improvement). Outputs will include summary reports with lessons learned and process documentation.
- Project management for product moves, process improvements, capital installation and new product introductions. Activities will include developing plans and budgets, team selection, assigning activities, conducting progress reviews, launching corrective actions, assuring all EHS guidelines and requirements are met and reporting progress to ISCL management.
- Actively manage new product introduction with respect to all manufacturing responsibilities. These responsibilities include the IR process and meeting cost, quality and lead-time requirements.
Requirements
- 4 year secondary degree, plus advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years in discipline.
- Experience required in welding and metal fabrication required.
