Sales Executives

Extremely successful South African Holding Company specializing in the mining industry has a fantastic position available for a Sales Executive in the Lydenburg area. Only South African citizens, who are suitably qualified, live in the applicable area and meet the requirements of the position are eligible to apply for this vacancy.

The successful incumbent would be required to be the face of the company in the Mpumalanga region. A key role in the incumbent’s duties would be to make sure that all the future and current customers have a very good understanding of the company’s products. The candidate will have to balance gaining new business and maintaining existing relationships with customers. Would have to hold product training sessions and guarantee technical support. Must be able to achieve and exceed targets to assist the company to grow its business.

Requirements:

• Must have Matric / Grade 12 Certificate
• B.Com Marketing and Sales tertiary qualification would be an advantage
• A minimum of 5 years recent direct selling experience with knowledge of the energy, mechanical and mining industries
• Responsible for achieving the planned sales objectives for the sales area
• Regular visits to current and potential customers
• Must take initiative to increase client base and sales
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels with clients and management
• Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent customer service
• Ability to close a sale
• Building and maintaining sound customer relationships
• Forecasting possible sales figures
• Manage customer profitability
• Sound negotiation and selling skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently, own initiative but under pressure
• Applicant must reside in the Lydenburg or surrounding area.
