Senior Infrastructure Engineer

An exciting opportunity has become available at my client in the engineering industry, based in the East Rand. They are urgently seeking to employ a competent Senior Infrastructure Engineer who specialises in Construction Camps, Road Design and Terraces.

Report to: Functional Manger of Civil, Structural & Infrastructure Engineering

Main objective: The successful candidate will be required to provide engineering solutions, and detailed Infrastructure design within the Civil / Structural & Infrastructure department.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Produce cost-effective and safe civil and structural designs
• Work closely within the scope, tonnage and man-hour budgets
• Adhere to the project program
• Adhere to Company specifications, guidelines and statutory codes of practices
• Interact efficiently with Drawing Office and other departments
• Maintain an effective record-keeping system

• The candidate will be a B.Eng or B.Sc graduate, with preferably a M.Eng qualification. 
• Registration with ECSA as a professional engineer is compulsory. 
• At least 10 years relevant work experience in a design office within the mining / industrial / commercial industry is deemed advantageous.
