System Technician

A Systems Technician position has become available in our Client's Company.

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants should be in possession of a N5 / T2 Qualification or equivalent in Instrumentation & Control, a Mechanician Trade would be an added advantage.
• Relevant experience preferably on a mine or plant process environment.
• some knowledge on configuring of DCS, PLC control systems.
• Must have some knowledge on computer & Industrial networking,
• Must be in possession of a valid Red Ticket.
• Must be able to speak and write English.
• Must be a team player.

Job Specification

• Primary Job Purpose
• Day to day maintenance, fault finding, configuration & optimisation on Process Control systems and instrumentation at the BMR plant & security control areas. Supervise & Control duties of the subordinates.

Key Performance Areas

• Compliance to Mine's Loss Control Program
• Participate in budget planning & control
• Will report to Senior Technician BMR Plant
• NOTE: all candidates will be subject to a complete assessment including Dover testing.
